Annie Grogan Recognized During Annual Honors Day Awards at Bethany College

Bethany College awarded many of its exemplary students, faculty and staff with a variety of college-wide and departmental awards on April 12 during its annual Honors Day celebrations. The recipients, selected based on their demonstration of outstanding scholarship and other contributions to the College, were presented with their awards during the Honors Day Convocation held in Commencement Hall in Bethany's historic Old Main.

Annie E. Grogan, a Religious Studies major, received the Harold R. & Evelyn N. Watkins Award. Grogan, daughter of Michael and Kerry Grogan, resides in Kailua, Hawaii.

The Harold R. and Evelyn N. Watkins Christian Leadership Award annually recognizes a junior or senior who has demonstrated outstanding Christian leadership and service.

Bethany College is a small college of national distinction located on a picturesque and historic 1,300-acre campus in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia. Founded in 1840, Bethany is the state's oldest private college.
