Francis Rios Selected for Bethany College 2011 Homecoming Court

Bethany College has announced 10 nominees for the 2011 Homecoming Court. Bethany's Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during halftime festivities at Saturday's football game against Westminster College. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Bison Stadium.

Francis Rios, an international relations major, is the daughter of Amalia and Sebastien Rios of San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. Representing the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, she serves as historian. Rios has also been active in the College's International Relations Club and Circle K..

The 10 members of the 2011 Homecoming Court were selected by a vote of Bethany College students. Balloting was conducted on campus to select the King and Queen from the nominees.

Bethany is a small college of national distinction located on a historic 1,300-acre campus in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia. Founded in 1840, it is the oldest college in the state.
